It is essential in my class to attend all sessions and participate in the classroom discussions. If you miss more than three classes your grades will suffer. Please inform me a head of time of absence and if there are emergencies please call the Office of Acadimic Affairs (Ext 103). If you miss a lecture try to get the class notes from your colleagues.
Classroom participation is a very important part of your learning. Therfore attendance is crucial. The materials presented at the lecture are outside the book therfore it is important for you to attend on time and participate in the discussions. Expressing your unique ideas and thoughts is fundamental for your learning, growth and development in to mature adult women. Please do not be stingy with them. Don’t be afraid you will make mistakes because we all do, including me. Further, do not worry if your arguments are right or wrong, even if they contradict with the current views, as long you can support them with evidence you will be able to validate your argument. In addition, our discussions are meaningful for my own learning and development. You will have an ample opportunity to develop these expressive skills.
Policies regarding writen assigmnet:
All written assigmnets has to be edited before handing them. Your writen language is the way you communicate and express your thoughts and ideas.
