Instructor Policy
It is essential in my class to attend all sessions and participate in the classroom discussions. If you miss more than three classes your grades will suffer. Please inform me a head of time of absence and if there are emergencies please call me home. If you miss a classroom try to get the class notes from your colleagues.
Classroom participation is a very important part of your learning. Expressing your unique ideas and thoughts is fundamental for your learning, growth and development in to mature adult women. Please do not be stingy with them. Don’t be afraid you will make mistakes because we all do, including me. Further, do not worry if your arguments are right or wrong , even if they contradict with the current views, as long you can support them with evidence you will be able to validate your argument. In addition, our discussions are meaningful for my own learning and development. You will have an ample opportunity to develop these expressive skills.
Don’t hesitate to ask me any questions, and please do use my office hours, they are made for you. Please call me at home if you have any concerns or issues that you want to discuss.
Please refer to the student handbook on information on grades, school calendar, student’s rights and responsibilities
